Claims about the alleged closure of the Lachin road by Azerbaijan, the blockade of Armenian residents living in Azerbaijani territories, and the emergence of a humanitarian crisis are groundless, Foreign Affairs Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said in a telephone conversation with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Report informs.
According to Bayramov, it is unacceptable that people who call themselves "representatives" of Armenians living in Azerbaijani territories prevent the use of the road by the population, thereby creating the impression of an artificial "blockade" and "humanitarian crisis."
Ceyhun Bayramov: “Azərbaycan ərazilərində yaşayan erməni sakinlərin blokadaya alınması barədə iddialar əsassızdır”
Байрамов: Утверждения о блокаде армянских жителей, проживающих на азербайджанских территориях, беспочвенны
