In May 2025, the organization's activities were highlighted in the UN Secretary-General's report on the International Decade for People of African Descent.
On June 24, 2026, BIG held an event at the US Congress in Washington dedicated to the right of return, bringing the issue of the ethnic cleansing of Azerbaijanis to the international agenda.
