Baiba Braže: Azerbaijan-NATO partnership of great importance

Azerbaijan is a very important partner for NATO from the first days of cooperation with the alliance, Baiba Braže, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, said in her online speech at the ADA University during the high-level conference 'Women for a Sustainable Tomorrow.'

The country has contributed to supporting peace by taking part in the peacekeeping missions in Kosovo and Afghanistan, she said, adding that NATO is thankful to Azerbaijan for supporting Ukraine by provision of humanitarian assistance, which is important in terms of international law.

But Azerbaijan can do even more in different spheres, she said.
