Azerbaijani presidential aide awarded Order of Friendship of Kazakhstan

Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration was awarded with the Order of Dostyk (Friendship) of Second Degree of Kazakhstan, Report informs.

Alim Bayel, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, presented the award to Hajiyev on behalf of President Tokayev.

The diplomat said that Hajiyev was awarded the order for his contributions to the development of friendly neighborly relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, strengthening strategic and alliance relations between the two countries.

In his turn, Hikmat Hajiyev expressed his gratitude to the leadership of Kazakhstan for the high value given to his activity and emphasized that he will continue to make his best contributions to the development of strategic cooperation.

During the meeting, the importance of the Summits of the Organization of Turkic States to be held in Astana in November and SPECA to be held in Baku was noted.
