Azerbaijani President: We are friends, brothers and officially allies 

“We are the closest countries in the world. Our countries have gone through hoops,” President Ilham Aliyev said at the opening of Rize-Artvin Airport, Report informs.

“The signing of the Joint Declaration between Turkiye and Azerbaijan in our ancient and historical city of Shusha last year raised our relations to the level of an alliance. We are friends, brothers and officially allies. This policy is the legacy of our ancestors. It is a testament of our ancestors, and we are faithful to this testament,” the head of state said.
