Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has arrived to attend the European Political Community Summit.

According to Report’s employee sent to Moldova, the Azerbaijani leader was welcomed by Moldovan President Maia Sandu.

The summit is attended by the heads of more than 40 states, as well as European Council President Charles Michel, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell.

The event takes place on June 1 in the town of Bulboaca, 35 km from Chisinau, in Mimi Castle.
