Co-chair of the Azerbaijani-Latvian Intergovernmental Commission, Latvian transport Minister Tālis Linkaits and Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev addressed topical issues of bilateral cooperation through video conference, Report says, citing Latvian Embassy in Azerbaijan.

Ministers mulled the list of the planned meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, scheduled for autumn in Riga, and the directions of the bilateral partnership after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Possibility of intensifying cargo and passenger transport, as well as the great potential for cooperation in the field of IT, "green" technology and ecology, as well as education and culture discussed. The sides are planning to strengthen business cooperation platforms to support entrepreneurs from both countries.
