Azerbaijani, Kazakhstani economic zones have great co-op potential, FM says

There is a wide potential for cooperation between industrial and technology parks, including Azerbaijan's Alat Free Economic Zone and Kazakhstan's respective economic zones, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a joint briefing with his Kazakh counterpart Murat Nurtleu, Report informs.

As for the transport-communication field, Bayramov noted that expanding cooperation within the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR, also known as Middle Corridor), as well as the fiber-optic cable project planned to be constructed under the Caspian Sea between Baku and Aktau, which is a key part of the Digital Silk Road Project, will ensure the dynamic nature of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan cooperation.
