Peace efforts in the region usher in a new age, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, said at a conference on ‘National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan’s foreign policy’ held at the ADA University, Report informs.
"Return of former IDPs to the liberated lands, which were under occupation for nearly 30 years, is of political, strategic, and moral importance. The liberated territories are being revived thanks to the active involvement of the head of state Ilham Aliyev and the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva," he stressed.
According to the minister, those areas are being rebuilt and restored inch by inch: “Peace efforts in the region usher in a new age. The settlement of the past conflict plays an important role in expanding the horizons of foreign policy. Today, the country's reputation is growing. We are sure that the soul of the Great Leader is happy because of the achievements made over many years.”
