Azerbaijani FM meets with his Ukrainian counterpart

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba on the sidelines of the Eastern Partnership Foreign Affairs Ministerial meeting in Brussels, Belgium, Report informs.

The ministers stressed the importance of friendship and partnership relations between the two countries.

The FMs exchanged views on prospects for cooperation in various areas, including transport, energy and humanitarian spheres.

The sides noted the importance of continuing the cooperation on multilateral platforms, including in many other directions within GUAM.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided detailed informaiton about the latest developments in the region, as well as the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The two also discussed other issues of bilateral and regional cooperation of mutual interest.
