Azerbaijani FM, Iranian president mull situation in region

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi as part of his participation in the meeting of foreign ministers in the 3+3 format (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Iran, Russia, Türkiye), Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on key issues on the agenda between Azerbaijan and Iran, existing opportunities for cooperation at both bilateral and multilateral levels, discussed prospects for normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the current situation in the region.

Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi has received Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Report informs referring to the press service of the Iranian president.

A meeting of foreign ministers in the 3+3 format (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Iran, Russia, Türkiye) is taking place in Tehran. Azerbaijan is represented at the meeting by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
