Azerbaijani FM Bayramov informs NATO's special envoy on normalization of relations with Armenia

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Javier Colomina, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy and Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Report informs citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the parties discussed the NATO-Azerbaijan cooperation, normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations and the current state of talks.

They noted the importance of maintaining regular political dialogue and developing practical cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the NATO official about the process of normalizing Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, the military and political provocations of Armenia that harm the peace process.

Javier Colomina noted that NATO supports the process of the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations.

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
