Azerbaijani Defense Minister meets with King of Jordan

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, who is on an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, met with the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan His Majesty Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

The Minister of Defense conveyed greetings of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, and handed over an invitation letter addressed to King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan His Majesty Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein regarding the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be hosted by Azerbaijan.

The meeting emphasized the importance of cooperation with Jordan in the military field, as in many spheres.
