Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan investment company eyes financing for 15 projects worth $600 million

The Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Company (AUIC) is currently evaluating the potential financing of 15 projects with a total value of $600 million, Yusif Abdullayev, the Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), told journalists in Tashkent.

According to Report, Abdullayev stated that investment decisions on several of the projects under consideration are expected to be made in the near future. He emphasized that these investments will contribute significantly to the development of cooperation between entrepreneurs from both countries.

The establishment of the AUIC marks a significant milestone in the economic collaboration between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. Registered on December 18, 2023, as a joint venture limited liability company under the name "Azerbaijan Uzbek Investment" (AUIC), the company is headquartered in Tashkent and boasts an impressive authorized capital of 500 million manats.
