The second meeting of the justice ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be held in Azerbaijan in 2025, Report informs referring to the press service of the organization.
The decision in this regard was made following the first meeting, which took place on September 9 in Astana (Kazakhstan) with participation of Azerbaijan's Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary-General of the organization Kubanychbek Omuraliev noted that the first meeting of the justice ministers of the participating countries, being a new platform, will expand and strengthen cooperation between the OTS countries in the field of the judicial system.
During the meeting, its participants presented information about the legal system of their countries, as well as the level of bilateral cooperation with the OTS countries, and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the justice ministries within the organization.
The ministers signed the Astana Declaration of the first meeting of the Council of Justice Ministers of the CIS countries.
