Azerbaijan, Spain to sign agreement on sidelines of business forum in Baku

Azerbaijan and Spain will sign a cooperation agreement today that will strengthen bilateral relations and become a catalyst for future partnerships, Spanish State Secretary for Trade of the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business Maria Amparo López Senovilla, said during the Azerbaijan-Spanish Business Forum in Baku, Report informs.

"We hope that the agreement we are going to sign today will serve as a basis for strengthening relations, a catalyst for further deals and partnerships. We hope that such events will be held regularly with the participation of an increasing number of private companies," she said.

According to her, this forum is an excellent opportunity for the development of economic and trade ties.

"We believe in the ability of Azerbaijani colleagues to innovate, adapt and continue to lead in the most relevant sectors. The Spanish government will continue to provide support to Azerbaijan," she said.
