Azerbaijan sets example of cooperation by assuming chairmanship of APA, assembly chief says

Azerbaijan has set a shining example of cooperation by taking over the chairmanship of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), APA Secretary General Mohammad Reza Majidi said during the opening ceremony of the 15th APA Plenary Session in Baku.

Majidi highlighted that under Azerbaijan's chairmanship, the Assembly has successfully implemented all planned programs.

"We aim to further strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation," he said, emphasizing APA's role as a crucial parliamentary platform that keeps the Palestinian issue at the forefront of its agenda.

Majidi congratulated Oman on joining the APA as a member and Belarus on being accepted as an observer.
