Azerbaijan's Commissioner for Human Rights meets with OIC Secretary-General

Sabina Aliyeva, Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Report informs via AZERTAC.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the level of relations between the OIC and Azerbaijan, reviewed areas of cooperation and its prospects, and stressed the importance that the OIC attaches to human rights issues.
In this context, the OIC Secretary-General expressed his deep appreciation for the support of Azerbaijan for the activities and programs of the OIC and for its efforts in the field of human rights.
The two sides exchanged views on a range of issues of common interest on the OIC agenda.
