“On February 15, 2022, a telephone conversation was held between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. On July 19, 2022, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the NATO headquarters. On April 28-29, 2022, Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina visited our country. During the year, efforts to increase national capabilities and defense reforms in the field of contributing to international peace and security continued in cooperation with NATO, and new partnership goals were agreed on this topic,” the Ministry said in a statement on the results of 2022.
