Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss investment cooperation

Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia, Faig Guliyev, has met with Mikheil Khidureli, Director General of the Georgian Investment Agency.

According to Report's Georgian bureau, the meeting, held on October 8, focused on the current state and future prospects of economic and investment cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The parties noted that Azerbaijan has been one of the largest investors in the Georgian economy for many years. They also exchanged views on Georgia's investment climate, existing opportunities, and prospects for increasing mutual investment.

The discussions covered opportunities to further expand bilateral economic cooperation, promote and implement new investment projects, and strengthen ties between the business communities of the two countries.

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
