Azerbaijan, Armenia to take measures regarding missing persons in military conflict

Azerbaijan and Armenia will take measures, including the exchange of all available information, to resolve cases of missing persons and forced disappearances that occurred during the military conflict in which both were involved, either directly or, where appropriate, through cooperation with relevant international organizations, as reflected in the initialed text of the "Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia," according to Report.
"The parties recognize the importance of clarifying the fate of the persons in question within this framework, including, where appropriate, the search for and return of their remains, and ensuring justice for these persons through necessary investigative measures as a means of building reconciliation and trust. The relevant modalities will be discussed and agreed upon in detail in a separate agreement," reads the text.
