Samir Sharifov, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, held consultations with his Russian counterpart, Alexander Grushko, in Moscow. The meeting, as reported by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, focused on the current situation in the South Caucasus region and its neighboring areas.
According to Report, during the discussions, Sharifov and Grushko exchanged views on a range of pressing issues, including the role of the European Union (EU) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in the region. They also addressed the current situation within the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the regional activities of the Council of Europe.
The consultations also covered various bilateral and international topics of mutual interest.
