Azerbaijan is hosting the World Urban Forum (WUF13) following the COP29 climate conference, demonstrating the high level of international trust in the country, Aygun Aliyeva, chair of the Board of the Agency for State Support to NGOs, said at a roundtable discussion during WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.
"Azerbaijan's hosting of this forum is no coincidence. Its organization after COP29 is a result of the trust placed in the country. Our country is implementing post-conflict reconstruction. Modern ecosystems are being created. But reconstruction is not just about infrastructure; it is also about restoring people's hope for the future. And the role of communities is enormous here," Aygun Aliyeva emphasized.
