"Our visit to Azerbaijan is aimed to inspect the state of cultural monuments in the liberated lands, and studying the situation with landmines in these territories," President of the Ombudsman's Association of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, chief ombudsman of Turkey Şeref Malkoç told journalists.
Report quotes him as saying that during the visit to Azerbaijan in the period of military actions, they studied the situation in Ganja, Aghdam, Mingachevir, and Tartar.
"OIC prepared a report and presented it to the respective structures in Turkey and Azerbaijan and sent the document to the United Nations and the International Court of Human Rights."
Malkoç said that the missile attack against cities outside the area of hostilities is inadmissible in such circumstances.
"It's a military crime and a crime against humanity. Armenian officials who committed this crime must be held accountable. They must bear responsibility for their actions to avert the repetition of such cases," he said.
