Aripov: New OTS strategy key to deepening cooperation

Developing a new strategy for the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) for 2027–2031 is an important task for further deepening cooperation among member states, Uzbekistan"s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov said at the second meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice Presidents of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), as quoted by Report.

He noted that amid the fragmentation of the global architecture of international security and economic cooperation, the role of regional organizations based on trust, historical ties, and shared interests is increasing.

"Undoubtedly, various risks arising after the Gabala Summit have provided additional impetus for expanding practical cooperation, as well as boosting mutual trade and investment. In this context, developing a new OTS strategy for 2027–2031 becomes a pressing task," he said.

He added that Uzbekistan fully supports further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation with the organization"s member states.
