Ambassadors of EU countries visited Lankaran State University

The ambassadors of the European Union countries visited Lankaran State University.

Report informs that a delegation of heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan led by EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko met with students.

University Rector Natig Ibrahimov welcomed the guests and noted that the university is actively involved in three EU-funded Erasmus educational programs. The last program started in May and covers the topic of 'green transition.'

Ambassador Peter Michalko, in turn, told the students about the educational programs of the European Union.

He said the EU supports the reforms in Azerbaijan.

Green energy is a priority for both the EU and Azerbaijan, the diplomat said, adding that work in this direction will continue.
