The heads of diplomatic missions and military attaches of the CIS countries took part in events dedicated to the Victory Day over fascism in World War II.

Report informs, CIS diplomats laid a wreath at the Memorial of Military Glory in Baku. The event was attended by representatives of the executive power of Narimanov district of Baku, veterans, as well as their relatives.

The memorial also hosted the Immortal Regiment march.

Notably, the Immortal Regiment march commemorating World War II heroes held in Russia and several CIS countries on Victory Day, during which participants march in a column and carry banners with portraits of their veteran relatives who fought against fascism in World War II.

Also, the ambassadors of the CIS countries laid wreaths on the memorial of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
