Rwanda is learning Azerbaijan's method of diplomacy and prioritizing peace in foreign policy, Rwanda's non-resident Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Charles Kayonga, told Report.
The ambassador, who resides in Ankara, Türkiye, and has recently returned from a visit to Azerbaijan, said that he had productive meetings in Baku:
"As one of the ambassadors accredited to your country, I was also invited to celebrate the professional holiday of Azerbaijan's diplomatic service staff. Azerbaijan's diplomatic service is already 106 years old, which is quite well-established. Rwanda praises Azerbaijan's experience in diplomacy and prioritizing peace in foreign policy. While in Baku, we discussed deepening cooperation with relevant institutions."
Meanwhile, an official reception and a concert program were organized in Baku on the occasion of July 9, the professional day of Azerbaijan's diplomatic service staff. The official reception was attended by heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Azerbaijan's diplomatic missions, high-level representatives of several state institutions, Azerbaijani MPs, as well as diplomats accredited in the country.
