Ambassador: 'I am returning to Ukraine with very positive impressions about Azerbaijan'

I am returning to Ukraine with very positive impressions about Azerbaijan and the people living here, outgoing Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan, Vladislav Kanevsky, said on Facebook, Report informs.

“My term as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan is coming to an end. It was a bright, meaningful, and fruitful period of my diplomatic life in a rapidly developing country that has regained its sovereignty and territorial integrity. I am returning home with very positive impressions about Azerbaijan and the people living here. I am grateful to Azerbaijanis for helping me get to know the rich history, culture, and traditions of their country and to develop a sense of sympathy for Azerbaijan. Azerbaijanis, you are very beautiful!” he said.

The diplomat also expressed his joy about the expansion of the geography of Ukrainian cultural and educational centers in Azerbaijan:

“It was an honor for me to represent Ukraine in friendly Azerbaijan! The strong support of my family, my wife, mother, and son, who encouraged me, gave me strength and confidence to move forward. Special thanks to all our diplomatic team! Long live Ukraine! Long live Azerbaijan!”
