Discussions on Karabakh war and factor of Ilham Aliyev's personality held in Algeria

A presentation ceremony for the Arabic edition of the book "History of the Patriotic War. Personality Factor," a joint project by the Baku City Executive Power and the Institute of History, took place in Algeria.

The event was attended by officials, ambassadors, diplomats from foreign states accredited in Algeria, prominent public and political figures, scholars, cultural personalities, media representatives, and Azerbaijanis living and studying in the country.

In their speeches, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Algeria Tural Rzayev, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) full member and Doctor of Historical Sciences academician Nargiz Akhundova, and others emphasized the significance of the book. They highlighted that it chronicles the victorious Patriotic War and showcases the wise policy, determination, intellect, and outstanding leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, who played a pivotal role in the victory.

They also mentioned that this book, one of the earliest attempts to compile the war's history, has been published in ten languages and presented in several countries worldwide.

During the ceremony, participants watched a film about Azerbaijan, its liberated territories, and the extensive reconstruction work undertaken in these areas. Azerbaijani national music was performed, and the event concluded with a banquet.

Additionally, the presentation ceremony received widespread coverage in Algerian media and on social networks.
