UEFA fined the Georgian Football Federation (GFF) 46,000 euros, Report informs, citing the organization’s website.
GFF was fined 36,250 euros due to the use of pyrotechnics and rioting by Georgian fans in the group stage game of EURO-2024 against the Turkish national team held in Germany. In the match with Portugal, some fans invaded the pitch and used pyrotechnics. GFF was fined another 9,750 euros for this incident, bringing the total amount of fine to 46,000 euros.
