UEFA Europa League trophy on tour to Azerbaijani regions

The trophy of the Europa League due in Azerbaijan has taken a tour to the Azerbaijani regions.

Report informs citing the Organizing Committee that on May 21 the trophy will be exhibited in Jojuq Marjanli village that was liberated from occupation in 2016. The residents and guests of the event will be able to take photos with the trophy and entertaining concert programs will be held and the residents will be able to win the tickets to the final match in Baku and get other presents.

Face-art, animators, master classes in football, games and other entertainments have been prepared for children.

Another remarkable moment in the event will be the autograph sessions with the ambassador of the Europa League final Vali Gasimov, as well as member of the Qarabag club and Azerbaijan national team Gara Garayev.

The Europa League final is to start at 23.00 local time at the Baku Olympic Stadium on May 29.

The UEFA Europa League trophy tour is a unique chance for the European football fans to be part of the tournament, see the honorable award and meet the football stars. This year the trophy tour started from Geneva and visited Ceville, Berlin, London, Milan, Moscow, Paris to end in Azerbaijani capital, Baku. The trophy was delivered personally by Europa League ambassador, Portuguese Nuno Ricardo.
