Stadium to host Croatia - Azerbaijan match unveiled

Baku. 11 December. REPORT.AZ/ The stadium that will host the first tour match of the qualifying round of the 2020 European Championship between Croatia and Azerbaijan was announced.

Report informs that the decision was taken at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Croatian Football Union (HNS). According to the decision, the meeting will be held at Stadion Maksimir in the Croatian capital of Zagreb.

The Executive Committee also considered it desirable not to change the emblem of the HNS.

Checkers are depicted in the present emblem and the national team plays in such wears.

Notably, the national teams of Croatia and Azerbaijan are in Group E with Hungary, Slovakia and Wales.
