Baku. 1 October. REPORT.AZ/ "Neftchi is really on the rise and it holds a decent game with Qarabaq. The team settled on the first place. It was bad to lose to this rival. I am still thinking about that match," the player of Azerbaijan's national team and 'Sahil' Ruslan Gurbanov said.
Report informs that he was commenting on Neftchi's 0-4 defeat.
Gurbanov also spoke about the next Nations League matches against Faroe islands (away match to be held on October 11) and Malta (home match on October 14). He noted that both matches will be decisive: "In the first two matches we played Kosovo 0-0 in Baku and Malta 1-1 away. If we are set a task to leave the group, we will have to defeat the Faroe islands and Malta. Though the Faroe islands is a good team. Today all teams can play football, not like it was before. We want to make the entire nation happy. We perceived the draw in the first two matches with a sincere pain, because we laid great hopes on them. We promise to make everything possible to bring joy to our people."
