Real Madrid’s new signing to pen six-year deal until 2031

Real Madrid are edging closer to securing yet another major reinforcement for the upcoming season, with Alvaro Carreras now expected to join the club from Benfica in a deal that could be completed within days, Report informs via Madrid Universal.

According to a recent report by ESPN, the Spanish full-back is poised to sign a six-year contract until 2031, with the move heavily backed by incoming manager Xabi Alonso.

Carreras, 22, is no stranger to the club. A former product of the Real Madrid youth academy, he featured alongside players like Raúl Asencio before making the switch abroad.

His return now appears imminent, as Real Madrid seek to resolve a long-standing issue in the left-back position.
