Real Madrid could offer Antonio Rudiger an extension till 2027 or 2028

Real Madrid massively appreciate defender Antonio Rudiger, and could be willing to make an offer to extend the German’s contract till 2027 or 2028, Report informs via Managing Madrid.

This is according to a report from MARCA, who claim that although Real Madrid usually decide against giving their 30-year-old veterans multiple-year extensions as well as avoid negotiations until the player enters the last year of his contract, they are hugely impressed by Rudiger’s performances since he has joined the club.

Rudiger is now considered more than just a defender — he is the leader in the defensive third, and Real Madrid are considering rewarding him for that.

Rudiger is 31 years old and is under contract with Real Madrid until June 2026, having signed a four-year deal when he joined the club in 2022.
