Qarabag stun Anderlecht to secure first ever UEFA Europa League group stage win

Baku. 2 October. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan`s Qarabag FC have defeated Belgian Anderlecht 1-0 in Baku to seal their first ever victory in an UEFA Europa League group stage, Report informs.

Brazilian midfielder Richard Almeida scored the only goal of the game in the 36th minute as the Azerbaijani champions ended Anderlecht's six-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Qarabag, which have not conceded in their last five European home games, are now ranked second in Group J behind Tottenham.
