Portugal eliminated Croatia from the FIFA World Cup 2026 after securing a 2–1 victory.
According to Report, the match was played at Toronto Stadium in the 1/16 finals.
Croatia opened the scoring in the 53rd minute through Ivan Perišić. However, Portugal managed a comeback with Cristiano Ronaldo equalizing from the penalty spot in the 68th minute and Gonçalo Ramos netting the winner in stoppage time (90+4).
Portugal will now face Spain in the 1/8 finals.
