Only 9 clubs submit documents to AFFA for participation in Premier League next season

Baku. 28 February. REPORT.AZ/ 9 clubs which intend to participate in the Premier League in 2019/2020 season submitted the required documents on personnel, administrative, sports, law and infrastructure criteria to AFFA, Head of AFFA Licensing Group Sarkhan Hajiyev told Report. According to him, 8 of the clubs are in the Premier League, while one club is the division representative.
Hajiyev said that no club from the First Division is expected to submit documents anymore.
Notably, at present, 14 clubs perform in the 1st Divison. Half of them are the reserve teams of the Premier League representatives.
