Sabail’s legionnaire named as one of the best players in African history

France Football magazine announced the names of the best footballers in the history of Africa.

Report informs that Michael Essien, who currently plays for Sabail, is also on the list of 30 best football players of Africa. Along with 37-year-old midfielder, Ghanaian Abedi Pele is also among the candidates.

Players, who are on the list: Mohamed Aboutrika (Egypt), Emmanuel Adebayor (Togo), Mahmoud El Khatib (Egypt), Lakhdar Belloumi (Algeria), Kalusha Bwalya (Zambia), Mustapha Dahleb (Algeria) Tarak Dhiab (Tunisia) ), El Hadji Diouf (Senegal), Michael Essien (Ghana), Essam El-Hadary (Egypt), Samuel Eto'o (Cameroon), etc.

Notably, Michael Essien has signed a 1,5-year contract with Sabail.
