IFFHS announces CAF Best Goal Scorer 2023

Denis Bouanga (Gabon) became the most prolific scorer in 2023 among African players, the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) said, Report informs.

He has scored 40 goals, 38 of them for Los Angeles in all competitions and 2 for his national team.

Mohamed Salah took the 2nd place in the CAF goal-scoring chart with 36 goals.

Kenyan Michael Olunga from Qatar's Al-Duhail and Togolese Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba from Al-Ain of the United Arab Emirates (both 35 goals) took the next positions.
