Torino and Napoli are in the final stages of negotiations for Argentine striker Giovanni Simeone, who has already agreed personal terms with Torino until June 2028, according to Fabrizio Romano, Report informs via Tribuna.
The 30-year-old, awaiting Napoli’s final approval to travel for medicals, is set for a €7 million-8 million transfer, below Napoli’s initial €15 million valuation.
Simeone, whose contract expires in 2026, scored two goals in 33 Serie A appearances in 2024/25, mostly as a substitute.
With Duvan Zapata sidelined, Torino views Simeone as a key starter under Vincenzo Vivarini.
The deal, expected to conclude soon, strengthens Torino’s attack for the 2025/26 season, outpacing interest from Genoa and Como.
