Former Turkish footballer appointed head coach of Romanian club

Former Turkish footballer Mehmet Topal has been appointed head coach of the Romanian club Petrolul, Report informs.

The 38-year-old specialist put a pen on a 3-year contract with the club.

During his football career, Topal played for Dardanelspor, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Basakseher, and Besiktas in Türkiye and Valencia in Spain.
