Former Neftchi CEO appointed to new post

Former Executive Director of Azerbaijan’s football club Neftchi Elnur Mammadov has been appointed Head of the International Relations Department at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport.

Mammadov earlier served as Chief of Sports Department at the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, Report says.

Elnur Mammadov, who began his career as infrastructure and IT Director at AFFA, worked as Vice-President and Executive Director at Neftchi FC from October 2014 to September 2016.
