FIFA suspends Paredes for actions after 2026 World Cup final

Argentina midfielder Leandro Paredes has been suspended for 10 international matches for his behavior following his team"s defeat to Spain in the 2026 World Cup final in the United States.
According to Vanguard, cited by Report, FIFA said in a statement that Paredes was also fined $90,000.
The portal noted that he was one of several Argentine players suspended and fined over incidents during the final in New Jersey, where Argentina lost to Spain 1-0.
