FIFA punishes captain of Peru footbal team

Baku. 8 December. REPORT.AZ/ FIFA decided to take action by suspending José Paolo Guerrero, the captain of Peru national team for a year. 

Report informs, it was caused by positive doping results of 33 year old forward.

During the suspension period, striker of Brazilian Flamengo club won’t be able to wear uniform on domestic, international and exhibition games. It means Guerrero will miss out the World Cup. 

The suspension goes into effect on November 3, 2017, date when he was temporarily disqualified. After tested positive on doping test José Paolo Guerrero was disqualified for 30 days.
