COVID-19 downgrades footballers in transfer market

The coronavirus pandemic has also affected the transfer value of the many football players.
Transfermarkt has reacted to the exceptional situation with the unprecedented step of making a global market value cut of 20% – players born in 1998 or later will be downgraded by 10%. In total, this amounts to a market value minus of €9.22 billion.
Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé tops Transfermarkt‘s list of the most valuable football players in the world at a market value of €180 million.
