Bayern Munich goalkeeper out for rest of season after breaking his leg

Germany captain Manuel Neuer has broken his leg while skiing during 'extra vacation' time allocated after his nation's World Cup elimination.

Report informs via Daily Mail that the 36-year-old played every minute of Germany's campaign in Qatar which saw them get knocked out of the group stages for the second successive tournament.

And, after being given time extra time off by Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann, the veteran shotstopper has confirmed he's sustained an injury that will rule him out for the rest of the season.
