Barcelona extends contract with Gerard Pique

Baku. 18 January. REPORT.AZ/ Barcelona have confirmed that Gerard Pique has agreed an contract extension that will keep him at Camp Nou until 2022.

Report informs citing the official website of the club. The defender also has a brand new release clause in his new deal that is set at a massive €500 million.

Notably, although Gerard Pique was trainee of Barcelona, in 2004, he moved to England’s Manchester United. Four years later, he returned to the Catalonia team and did not leave the team again. The 30-year-old defender has scored 36 goals in 421 games and 8 productive transfers in Barcelona.
