Azerbaijan scores points in UEFA ranking

Azerbaijan scored points in the UEFA 2022/2023 ranking.
Report informs that it happened after Qarabag's victory with a score of 5:1 in the return match of the first qualifying stage of the UEFA Champions League with the Polish Lech.
The victory brought 0.250 points to the country, represented by four clubs.
However, Azerbaijan remains on the 29th line, despite the fact that it has 12,875 points following the results of five seasons. The reason is that the Polish clubs Lechia and Pogon, represented in the UEFA Conference League, in 28th place with 13,750 points, entered the fight from the first qualifying stage and won in the first matches.
Neftci, Zira and Gabala, representing Azerbaijan in this tournament, will fight from the second qualifying stage.
